Robot Operator-; Mon-Thur

Michael Foods, Inc. located in Mars Hill, Maine. Pineland Farms is one of the largest food manufacturing organizations in Aroostook County. The Mars Hill facility has over 200 team members who work together to provide customers with the best possible potato product.

The position is responsible for operating the automated case packer robot and ensuring compliance with all safety, food safety, and quality policies. The role requires the following:

• Configure SKU settings using the computer console.
• Observe product moving through the conveyor system, detect defect packaging or misalignment, and correct as needed.
• Supply the robot case packer with shippers.
• Stop equipment to clear jams and inform lead, supervisor, or maintenance of any equipment malfunction.
• Maintain production records, including date codes and product labels.
• Follow all SQF principles and GMPs pertinent to the position.
• Report food safety and human safety concerns to QA technician, Safety Manager, or FSQ Manager.
• Embrace change and handle additional tasks as assigned.
• Perform sanitation in the packaging area, including Ambient, Spiral Chillers, and Binoveyor rooms, using standard chemicals.
• Maintain a safe and healthy workplace by adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure product quality is maintained and report any conditions that could affect food safety and quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
