Everlast Roofing is seeking a mechanically inclined Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Bridgton, Maine. This role is ideal for an experienced machine operator who has hands‑on maintenance knowledge and is interested in developing into a future maintenance technician. The selected candidate will be trained on all production equipment and work closely with our experienced maintenance team to build troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance skills.

• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot machine equipment to maintain production goals.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and identify potential maintenance concerns.
• Assist with basic repairs and preventative maintenance activities.
• Learn the operation and maintenance requirements of all production equipment.
• Work closely with the maintenance technician to gain knowledge of machine systems, repairs, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Maintain accurate production and maintenance records as required.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures.

• Previous machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and maintenance experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs.
• Strong willingness to learn maintenance functions and develop technical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

• Experience with industrial machinery maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical systems.
• Previous experience performing preventative maintenance.
