Weekend shift Opportunity Friday - Sunday (3 x 12 hour shifts) 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
- Designed to give individuals with little or no machining or assembly experience the skills needed to become a Certified Operator at Pratt & Whitney.
- Participate in 4-8 weeks of on‑the‑job training.
- Learn to perform routine assembly operations on large sections of current engine designs and similar assemblies, using operation sheets, part travelers, BOROPS, and oral instructions.
- Verify conformance of finished work to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
- Obtain operator Certification to accept/reject parts.
- Maintain machines by performing required total preventive maintenance (TPM).
- Work collaboratively with engineers, quality assurance, programmers, and other production personnel to resolve assembly problems and assist in part process development.
Skills, systems, and processes critical to aerospace manufacturing within a state‑of‑the‑art facility.

Qualifications You Must HaveHigh School diploma or GED.
Qualifications We Prefer- 1+ years of manufacturing, automotive or related trade experience.
- Ability to make computations involving decimals and fractions.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
