Step Into Precision: A Day in Your New Role Imagine clocking in at a shop built around mission‑critical quality. You head to a 4‑axis horizontal mill or a mill‑turn lathe, review the setup plan, and load your first parts. You prove out the program, tweak tool and work offsets, and make smart edits on the fly. Throughout the shift, you move between CNC lathes, mill‑turns, and 3/4/5‑axis mills, interpreting complex blueprints and GD&T to keep tolerances tight.
You verify everything with micrometers, calipers, and indicators, document results, and partner closely with supervisors, engineering, maintenance, and quality to keep production flowing. Your work supports aerospace, defense, semiconductor, and advanced automation customers who rely on us to get it right—every time.
Shift Options Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM–2:00 AM — 10% shift differential
Friday–Sunday, 5:00 PM–5:00 AM — 30% shift differential
Core Responsibilities Operate CNC lathes, mill‑turns, and 3/4/5‑axis mills
Set up machines, load parts, prove programs, adjust offsets, and perform program edits
Read and apply complex drawings, specifications, and GD&TInspect using precision hand tools; correct process as needed
Maintain a clean, organized workstation and complete basic PMCollaborate with production leaders, engineers, maintenance, and quality
What You’ll Bring High school diploma/GED and machining training or 2+ years of CNC experience
Background machining medium‑to‑high complexity parts
Fluent in blueprint reading and GD&THands‑on with micrometers, calipers, and indicators; CMM exposure is a plus
Able to follow work instructions, adapt to changes, and tend multiple machines
Strong math, tooling/fixturing knowledge, and cutting strategy know‑how
Experience with 4‑axis horizontal mills and/or lathe/mill‑turn equipment
