Join our one-year state of Maine Certified Apprenticeship Manufacturing Operator Apprenticeship Program, designed to provide comprehensive training and on-the-job experience. This program combines pre-apprenticeship experience from Sanford Regional Technical Center's Precision Manufacturing Program and/or Biddeford Regional Center of Technology's Manufacturing Technology program with intensive hands‑on training in major manufacturing principles and processes used in the aerospace industry. Successful candidates will have three different opportunities to learn and grow in various areas within the plant

ONLY 2026 students graduating from the two programs are eligible to apply

1st shift , 5x8 , 7:00am-3:30pm , Monday-Friday

• Must be a graduate or soon to be a 2025 graduate of the Sanford Regional Technical Center's Precision Manufacturing Program or Biddeford Regional Center of Technology's Manufacturing Technology program
• Resume
• High School Diploma or GED

• Passion for learning new equipment, ideas and systems quickly
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated adaptability

The salary range for this role is $17.30-$30.10 . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines. Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
