East Coast Cannabis is looking for a motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented Edibles Production Specialist to join our Kitchen Team in Eliot, Maine. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, takes pride in creating high-quality products, and wants to build a career in Maine's growing cannabis industry.
Whether you have experience in commercial kitchens, food production, baking, confectionery, or cannabis edibles, or you're simply eager to learn, we'd love to hear from you. We provide training for the right candidate and offer opportunities for long‑term growth within our manufacturing team.
Compensation
- Starting at $17.00 per hour
- Higher starting wages may be available for candidates with previous cannabis edibles manufacturing or commercial food production experience, based on qualifications and experience.
What You'll Do
- Prepare, cook, and produce cannabis edible products following established recipes, SOPs, and quality standards.
- Accurately measure, weigh, and portion ingredients to ensure product consistency and compliance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen while following food safety and sanitation standards.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and Maine Adult Use Cannabis Program regulations.
- Assist with inventory organization, ingredient tracking, and production preparation.
- Work closely with the Kitchen Manager and team members to maintain an efficient production schedule.
- Obtain and maintain a valid Maine Office of Cannabis Policy (OCP) Individual Identification Card (IIC).
Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
- No nights or weekends
What We're Looking For

- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, production‑focused environment.
- Ability to follow recipes, procedures, and quality standards consistently.
- Commercial kitchen, bakery, confectionery, food manufacturing, or cannabis edibles experience is a plus, but not required.
- Must be at least 21 years old and able to obtain and maintain a Maine OCP Individual Identification Card (IIC).
