Are you experienced with CNC programming and ready to take your precision programming skills to the next level? We're hiring a CNC Programmer to support complex aerospace manufacturing operations. In this onsite role, you'll develop and maintain CNC programs using NX Cam, interpret technical drawings, and support tool pathing activities for high-precision components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop CNC programs for new and existing components using engineering drawings, CAD models, and manufacturing requirements.
  • Create efficient machining strategies, toolpaths, setups, and operation sequences.
  • Perform program prove-outs and support first-piece machining on the shop floor.
  • Troubleshoot and debug CNC programs, including dimensional, tooling, machine-motion, and process-related issues.
  • Optimize existing programs to improve cycle time, tool life, quality, repeatability, and overall machining efficiency.
  • Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feeds, work holding, and machining strategies.
  • Make program adjustments based on inspection results and manufacturing feedback.
  • Work directly with CNC operators, manufacturing engineers, quality personnel, and other technical teams to resolve production issues.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement sustainable process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate CNC programs, setup documentation, tooling information, and revision control.
  • Ensure programs and processes comply with applicable safety, quality, and manufacturing standards.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience developing CNC programs from engineering drawings and/or 3D models.
  • Demonstrated experience with program optimization, troubleshooting, and debugging.
  • Strong understanding of CNC machining principles, tooling, speeds and feeds, work holding, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience supporting CNC program prove-outs and troubleshooting directly at the machine.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing specifications.
  • Understanding of dimensional inspection and the relationship between machining parameters and part quality.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and machine operators.
  • Due to the nature of the work US Citizenship is required.
Preferred:
  • Experience programming 3, 4, or 5 axis CNC equipment.
  • Experience with CNC milling and/or turning operations.
  • Experience with industry-standard CAM software such as Siemens NX or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with Fanuc, Siemens, DMG MORI, or similar CNC controls and equipment.
  • Experience improving machining processes through cycle-time reduction, tooling optimization, or setup improvements.
  • Experience working in an aerospace, defense, automotive, or other high-precision manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous-improvement principles.

If you're a skilled CNC Programmer looking to make an impact in the aerospace industry, we'd love to hear from you.
