Preferred Experience:

• Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience, preferably in a paper mill, pulp mill, power plant, or other heavy industrial environment.
• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial equipment, including pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, bearings, valves, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and other rotating equipment.
• Experience performing preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Welding, fabrication, machining, or other mechanical trade experience is preferred.
• Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures and safe work practices in an industrial environment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify the cause of equipment issues and determine appropriate repairs.
