Journey aims to raise and sustain the postsecondary and career
aspirations of students in rural Maine. The coordinatorimplements the
components of the program in a way that upholds the Maine Seacoast
Mission goals of improving academic performance, promoting responsibility
of individual health and wellness, raising student aspirations, and
contributing to the development of strong and nurturing family
relationships. In addition to Journey responsibilities, the coordinator
contributes to and collaborates with other Mission Downeast programming
and staff as appropriate (i.e.,After school, Summer Camp, Marion Kane
