Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN

Job Summary

Woodlawn Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, part of First Atlantic Healthcare, is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to work under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON). LPNs will record resident interactions, prepare residents for procedures, and assist with routine recovery care. They typically care for multiple residents at once, following medical routines and schedules.

Full‑time and part‑time day‑shift opportunities.

Hourly Rate: $29.00 – $36.00.

$10,000 sign‑on bonus for eligible full‑time employees (paid out over 2 years).

• Monitor resident’s vitals and record them in their file.
• Maintain the cleanliness and comfort of each resident, including bathing, feeding and dressing.
• Assist nursing and medical staff with basic medical tasks, such as administering medication.
• Update resident records in a confidential manner.
• Evaluate the resident’s wellbeing and report any needs to medical staff.
• Explain treatments and procedures to residents and families.
• Change dressings and bandages, ensuring residents are healing properly.
• Move residents from wheelchairs, beds, and gurneys.

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
• Currently licensed as an LPN in Maine.
