Here community matters-and so does your voice! As part of our RN team, you'll be supported in an environment rooted in compassion, respect, and shared learning. We work together, support one another, and stay focused on what matters most: delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.
This is an office-based RN role within our medical group, not a hospital setting. You'll work in an outpatient setting, focusing on patient education, follow‑up, and care coordination, while still staying hands‑on and clinically active. Your day will include a mix of patient calls, education, and clinical support—triaging symptoms, reviewing results, answering medication questions, and assisting with routine visits. This role is a great fit for a nurse who enjoys patient interaction, likes to stay busy, and values building relationships over time while balancing clinical care with organization and follow‑through.
This is a Registered Nurse II vacancy open to candidates with greater than 1 year of RN work experience.
Sign‑On Bonus- Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires; per diem hires are ineligible.
- Current Maine Health member employees are ineligible; former Maine Health Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
The Registered Nurse II – Clinical Educator, Primary Care role is responsible for the implementation of clinical and non‑clinical education in the hospital. Develops, coordinates, and implements continuing education and in‑service education for all clinical departments.
QualificationsGraduate of an accredited School of Nursing/BSN required. Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
Certifications:
Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
Demonstrated clinical expertise in direct patient care as normally acquired through a minimum of two years clinical experience and meets all the care delivery expectations of the expert clinical nurse within their clinical setting required. Experience in classroom instruction and/or clinical teaching associated with specialty specific setting preferred.
Knowledge of educational development and design preferred.
We offer benefits that support an individual's needs for today and flexibility to plan for tomorrow—programs such as paid parental leave, a flexible work policy, student loan assistance, training and education, along with well‑being resources for you and your family.
