Travel Long Term Care RN – Fusion Medical Staffing

Freeport, Maine – 8‑week travel assignment.

• One year recent experience as an RN in a long‑term care setting.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Additional certifications may be required depending on facility requirements.

• Assess patient or resident health, monitor for changes, and take appropriate action to ensure their well‑being.
• Develop, update, and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the care team.
• Observe residents for medication reactions or changes in condition and report concerns to the healthcare provider.
• Provide treatments including wound care, IV therapy, catheter management, and other skilled procedures within scope of practice.
• Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs, delegating appropriately to ensure quality care.
• Educate residents and families on medications, treatments, and chronic condition management.
• Document care provided, resident progress, and any health changes in a timely manner.
• Respond quickly to emergencies, delivering critical care and coordinating with medical teams when needed.
• Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated, comprehensive care.
• Adhere to facility safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards.

• Physical: remain stationary, move about, lift or move equipment (50–100 lbs), push, pull, and bend.
• Technical/Motor: fine manipulation and assistance with procedures and equipment.
• Mental: cope with frequent contact with the general public, meet deadlines under pressure, work under close supervision occasionally or independently.
• Sensory: visual acuity and effective communication ability.
