Responsibilities- Assess, prioritize, and triage patients using established clinical protocols.
- Provide emergency nursing care, treatments, and life‑saving interventions.
- Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies as ordered.
- Monitor patient condition, interpret clinical findings, and promptly communicate changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist with emergency procedures, trauma care, diagnostic testing, and patient stabilization.
- Operate and monitor emergency and life‑support equipment.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, EMS, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Promote patient safety, quality care, and positive clinical outcomes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Paramedic Base Station ED: MICN within 12 months of hire and maintain current.
- EDAP certified facilities:
Completion of emergency pediatric course 1 and 2 within 6 months of hire. - Non‑OB facilities: NRP certificate 90 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNNC) within 12 months of hire required.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $36.00 to $49.16 per hour.
The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
