Full Time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner / PMHNP - North-central Maine

33 miles from Millinocket and about 45 minutes north of Bangor.

Thriving nonprofit FQHC behavioral health program north of Bangor is offering a hybrid opportunity to an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in a collaborative team environment focused on improving long-term outcomes for patients.

• Hybrid schedule: 2 days onsite - outpatient and 2 days working remote seeing mostly adult patients
• 4-day work week (Monday–Thursday) with Fridays off

• Provide outpatient psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management
• Deliver care through a combination of onsite visits and telehealth appointments
• Collaborate closely with primary care providers and behavioral health clinicians
• Participate in an integrated care model supporting whole-person treatment
• Develop treatment plans and monitor patient progress
• Serve patients across the lifespan in a community-focused setting

• Be able to do the job as described.
• Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner / PMHNP certification
• Active Maine NP license or ability to obtain
• Experience providing psychiatric evaluation and medication management
• Comfortable working in an integrated behavioral health setting
• Strong collaborative and patient-centered communication skills
