Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Location: Winslow

Assistance Plus is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join their growing team!

The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) will have the primary responsibility of providing psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management to individuals with behavioral health needs. The PMHNP will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, person-centered care to adults, children, and/or adolescents in an outpatient setting. Additionally, the PMHNP will support individuals with an identified Opioid Use Disorder.

The PMHNP will provide individual consultation regarding the medical aspects of treatment and possible prescriptions to assist with recovery.

This is a part time position, located at our Winslow office.

Position Requirements :

Proof of vehicle insurance at $50K/$100K and a valid Maine drivers license are required

Must be 18 years of age or older

Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited PMHNP program

Professional Licensure (MD, DO, APRN, NP or PMHNP, or PA or PA-C)
DEA License Sixty (60) hours of education regarding the treatment of Substance Use Disorders in the last five years

Intermediate level computer experience
