Join the Maine Health Medical Group Primary Care practices affiliated with Mid Coast Hospital as a full-time, 40-hour day shift RN Clinical Supervisor and play a key leadership role in supporting exceptional patient-centered care across our growing network of primary care practices.
As the RN Clinical Supervisor, you'll partner with providers, practice managers, and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure outstanding clinical operations while fostering a positive, collaborative work environment. You'll provide day-to-day clinical leadership, mentor and support nursing staff, oversee clinical workflows, promote quality and patient safety initiatives, and help ensure patients receive exceptional care at every visit.
This role offers the opportunity to blend hands‑on clinical expertise with leadership responsibilities in a dynamic ambulatory setting. You'll coach and develop nursing staff, support onboarding and ongoing education, assist with quality improvement initiatives, optimize clinical workflows, and help maintain compliance with clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and evidence-based practice. Your leadership will directly contribute to creating an engaged team culture focused on excellence, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

This is a Registered Nurse 2 vacancy open to candidates with greater than 1 year of RN work experience.
For a limited time, Maine Health is offering up to $10,000 Sign‑on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with 0–2 years of experience and $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of experience!
- Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
- Current Maine Health member employees are ineligible; former Maine Health Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
The Supervisor – Clinical RN role is responsible for supervising assigned staff within the assigned work areas(s).
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)- Education:
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required. BSN preferred. - License/
Certifications:
Current State of Maine Nursing License or eligible for licensure to practice in Maine. Current BLS Certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. - Experience:
Two years of RN experience required. Experience in area of specialty may be required. Supervisory experience preferred.
