Registered Nurse (RN) Vaccine Immunizer – Short-Term Assignment
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch from 1:30 PM – 2:00 PM)
Hours:
Full-Time, 40 hours/week
Assignment Dates:
Tuesday, September 8 – November 13 (approximately)
A-Line Staffing Solutions is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Vaccine Immunizer for a short-term, full-time vaccination assignment. The RN will provide safe and efficient immunization services, perform patient assessments, administer vaccines, and support vaccination outreach efforts. This role is ideal for an RN with strong patient care skills who enjoys working directly with patients and supporting preventative healthcare services.
Requirements- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Active BLS certification required
- Previous immunization/vaccination experience preferred
- Ability to commit to the full assignment timeframe from September 8 through November 13
- Strong communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with healthcare teams
- Monday-Friday: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- 30-minute lunch break: 1:30 PM – 2:00 PM
- No weekends
- 40 hours per week
- Assess patients and safely administer vaccinations according to established clinical standards and policies
- Perform immunization screenings and verify vaccination eligibility and history
- Administer all assigned vaccines while maintaining safe medication administration practices
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation, including Vaccine Administration Records (VAR)
- Educate patients and customers on available vaccination services and encourage participation when appropriate
- Engage customers during slower appointment periods to promote vaccination services and provide immunization education
- Greet patients and provide assistance with healthcare services in a professional and compassionate manner
- Demonstrate competency in patient assessment, vaccine administration, and documentation procedures
- Communicate patient status changes, concerns, or care needs to appropriate team members
- Coordinate effectively with clinic partners and onsite staff to support vaccination operations
- Arrive at assigned vaccination sites and help maintain efficient clinic workflow
- Utilize computer systems and technology to document care and communicate updates
- Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation during or immediately after patient care
- Report patient progress, care needs, and goals when transitioning care to another nurse
- Participate in assigned on-call responsibilities as needed
- Experience working in community health, pharmacy, outpatient clinics, public health, or vaccination events
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple patient interactions efficiently
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced vaccination clinic environment
