CNA Opportunity in Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing Facility
Seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented CNA to provide essential patient care in a Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing Facility environment. The ideal candidate will support residents with daily activities and healthcare needs.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Monitor and document patient health status and report any changes to nursing staff.
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment.
- Administer basic medical care as directed and assist with medication reminders.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure personalized resident care plans are followed.
- Provide emotional support and compassionate assistance to patients and their families.
Qualifications:
- Valid CNA certification in the state of Maine.
- Proven experience working in LTC or SNF settings preferred.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with residents' mobility.
- Adhere to healthcare privacy and confidentiality regulations.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.
