Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
This position requires a 36-hour work week on the day shift from 7 AM to 7 PM, with every other weekend and holiday required.
Job Description:
The Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) will provide critical care to patients in an emergency setting. The RN will work in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating flexibility and excellent communication and documentation skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to emergency department patients.
- Perform assessments, administer medications, and coordinate care.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- 2 to 5 years of experience in Emergency Department or Critical Care.
- Minimum of 1 year travel experience in the specified specialty.
- Current ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications.
- Completion of education modules required through the education department.
