position in our Emergency Department. This is an excellent opportunity to practice high-quality rural emergency medicine as a vital member of our collaborative team. Our 24/7 Emergency Department serves over 30,000 residents across Somerset County. You will work alongside our supportive team of board-certified emergency physicians and fellow APPs to manage a diverse and engaging mix of cases, making a direct impact on our community.

Our department is equipped with a state-of-the-art central monitoring system and a helipad for rapid Life Flight transfers, ensuring our team can provide the highest level of care possible in a rural setting.

• ? Assess, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages presenting with a wide variety of acute illnesses and injuries.
• ? Work in close collaboration with emergency physicians, nursing staff, and specialists.
• ? Order and interpret diagnostic tests, develop treatment plans, and perform procedures appropriate for the emergency setting.
• ? Stabilize and prepare patients for transfer to tertiary care facilities as needed.
• ? Ensure clear communication with patients and families and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• ? Shifts are available 24/7/365

  Required:
  
  Graduate of an accredited Physician Associate(PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) program.
• ?
  
  Required:
  
  Current national certification as a Physician Associate (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (FNP or ACNP).

  Must possess or be eligible to obtain an active, unrestricted license in the State of Maine.

  Current certification in ACLS and PALS
• ? Preferred:
  Significant clinical experience as an APP in an emergency department or high-volume urgent care setting.

  Current ATLS certification.

The salary for this position is $120,000-$180,000, based on relevant education, qualifications, and experience
