American Traveler is hiring a night shift RN for a Med/Surg position requiring a ME or compact RN license and 2 years of experience.

• Work in the Med/Surg General unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule
• Uses Epic EMR
• 25-mile float policy between facilities as needed

• Active RN license (ME or Compact) required
• BLS and other AHA certifications required (non-AHA equivalents accepted at submission but AHA must be completed before start)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

• Air pods, laptops, and cell phone usage are prohibited on the unit
• Candidates residing within 90 miles of any Maine Health facility are considered local, which affects pay rate eligibility
• Local travelers are not eligible for renewals or extensions
• RTO should be kept to a minimum, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract
• Candidates who have worked at any Maine Health facility within the past 12 months should note this during consideration
