Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)

Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule:

This position includes a 36-hour work week with shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM, including every other weekend and holiday requirements.

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in critical care and emergency settings, demonstrating excellent patient care and communication skills. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients and ensuring a team-oriented approach to patient services.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing assessments, interventions, and care to patients in the emergency department.
• Coordinate with healthcare team members to implement comprehensive care plans.
• Document patient care and progress accurately and timely.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in Emergency Department or Critical Care.
• At least 1 year of travel experience in a similar role.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI, NISHH.
• Education modules completion as required.
