American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring an active ME or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

• Hospital-based General Med/Surg unit setting
• Night shift schedule from 5:45 PM to 6:15 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• EPIC EMR used
• Float policy of up to 25 miles between facilities as needed

• Active RN license (Maine or compact) required upon consideration
• BLS certification required, with AHA certification required prior to start if submitted with a non-AHA equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

• Provide direct patient care on a general Medical/Surgical unit
• Candidates residing within 90 miles of any Maine Health facility are considered local and are not eligible for renewals or extensions
• RTO should be minimal, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for the 13-week contract at the manager's discretion
• Candidates who have worked at any Maine Health facility within the past 12 months should disclose this at the time of consideration
• Air pods, laptops, and cell phone usage are prohibited on the unit
