Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Damariscotta, Maine, 04543!

Travel RN – SCU / Telemetry (Nights)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (5:45 PM – 6:15 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week

• Provide direct patient care in a Step-Down / Intermediate Care Unit serving SCU, IMC, med-surg, and occasional swing patients in a community access hospital setting
• Monitor and manage telemetry patients, including those requiring vasoactive drips and ventilator support as needed
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:1 to 4:1, adapting to patient acuity and unit census
• Operate and manage unit equipment including ventilators, Plum pumps, feeding tubes, chest tubes, ceiling lifts, and SCD boots
• Document all patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
• Float occasionally to the medical-surgical unit as needed

• Active, unrestricted RN license valid in the state of Maine (or compact license eligibility)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience, including prior travel nursing experience
• Demonstrated experience with vasoactive drips and ventilator management
• Telemetry or med-surg/telemetry experience required; candidates from larger organizations with higher-acuity skill sets are encouraged to apply
• Availability to work every other weekend at minimum

• Prior ICU or SCU/IMC experience strongly preferred
• Experience in a community or critical access hospital environment
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR

• Work in a collaborative, team-oriented intermediate care environment where experienced tele and med-surg nurses are valued and supported
• Gain well-rounded clinical experience in a unit that blends telemetry, intermediate care, and med-surg patient populations
