• Provide unit-level leadership under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer and Director of Nursing, supervising nursing staff in the absence of Unit Directors
• Coordinate age-appropriate patient care activities in accordance with facility standards, policies, and procedures
• Manage nursing operations to support efficient delivery of care across the nursing services
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold the organization’s mission, vision, and values in daily practice
• Demonstrate clinical proficiency in age-appropriate patient care using the nursing process
• Exhibit strong leadership and communication skills, with effective conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities
• Function independently and respond rapidly and effectively in emergency situations

• Active registered nurse license in the State of Maine or authorization to practice pending licensure by endorsement
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications required within 6 months of hire
• BSN preferred or willing to obtain BSN
• Minimum 4 years of acute care experience
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage care during night-shift operations

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred; or current RN pursuing BSN
