Role:
Registered Nurse (RN) in a Skilled Nursing Facility with a focus on Med Surg, providing comprehensive patient care in a supportive, resident-centered environment.
Responsibilities:Contribute to planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans; monitor and communicate patient conditions; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for care coordination, transfers, and discharge; educate patients and families tailored to individual needs; delegate tasks to ancillary staff; potentially precept students and new hires.
Qualifications & Skills:Current Maine RN license or ability to obtain; strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills; at least one year of nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply; self-motivated with a commitment to high-quality care and ongoing learning.
Key Duties:Provide direct nursing care during 12-hour night shifts; work full-time (36 hours/week); deliver resident-centered care aligning with professional standards; support residents with memory loss in a compassionate manner.
