Travel RN - Emergency Dept

American Traveler is hiring an Emergency Department RN for a night shift contract requiring a Maine or compact RN license and current BCLS certification.

• Active RN license in the State of Maine or compact license, or Authorization to Practice pending licensure by endorsement
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current BCLS required
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire date
• 2 years of experience preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, computer, and documentation skills
• Ability to function independently and act rapidly in emergency situations

• Emergency Department setting providing patient-family centered care
• Three 12-hour night shifts per week with varying schedule
• Uses Med Host EMR system
• Holiday coverage required
• Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care consistent with state standards
• Communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team in developing patient care plans
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and support the organization's mission, vision, and values
