Emergency Veterinarian- Part Time

Midcoast Animal Emergency Clinic is looking to add a compassionate and skilled Emergency Veterinarian to our team as a part‑time associate. • Examine and diagnose diseases and injuries of pets (primarily dogs and cats), and treat surgically or medically
• Collaborate within our veterinary ecosystem, and communicate with referring veterinarians
• Participate in ongoing education, seminars, and training to stay at the top of your field
• Advise animal owners about sanitary measures, feeding, and general care to promote the health of animals

• Base salary ( $92,500 - $100,000) with production
• 401(k) with a total company matchup to 4%, after 6 months of employment

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree or equivalent degree required
• 2+ years of experience practicing veterinary medicine in a Veterinary Hospital setting is preferred
• Internship training is also preferred but not required
• Ability to attain ME Veterinary License
