Quality Engineering Lead

We are moving towards a more modern and sustainable way of working with quality and testing – where AI and automation play an increasingly important role. To succeed, we need to strengthen our capabilities, create common working methods, and ensure that our development teams have the support they need. As Quality Engineering Lead, you will have a central role in building up and leading a virtual team within quality and testing.

It's not about taking over testing work, but about enabling: supporting, training, inspiring, and showing the way. The role has no personnel responsibility, but you drive the group's direction, priorities, and efforts.

You will work both strategically and operationally closely with our teams and our management. You identify opportunities, drive initiatives, and help us find smarter ways to secure quality in every step of the development process – preferably with the help of AI where it does the most good. This is a role for someone who wants to make a real difference.

Someone who thrives on building culture, capability, and direction – and who wants to shape how we work with quality in the future.

As Quality Engineering Lead, you will:

  • Contribute to establishing and shaping an Enabling Team within QA
  • Inspire, coach, and "miss ionize" around modern working methods for testing and quality
  • Help identify opportunities for test automation and AI support in the development process
  • Support teams and management in the change journey

We are looking for someone with solid background in testing, quality, and modern QA principles in agile development teams. You have practical experience of using AI in a development organization or in the work with digital products – for example in testing, analysis, code support, or quality follow-up. Furthermore, you have experience of driving change in technology-oriented organizations and are the one who builds engagement, creates understanding, and brings people along in new working methods.

To succeed in the role, we believe that you are pedagogical and inspiring, with a strong communicative ability that easily reaches different parts of the organization. You are confident in challenging established working methods and contribute new perspectives where needed. At the same time, you thrive in cross-functional collaborations and are used to moving between different teams and levels in the organization.

The role requires very good knowledge of Swedish.

We like to be seen – it's part of our culture. Our Stockholm office is moving in the spring to Drottninggatan 89, an office that provides space for both focus and community, with the city's pulse right outside the door. And in Karlstad, we are already in one of the city's best locations, new and modern right by Stora torget.

The selection process is ongoing throughout the summer, but since many of us are on vacation, feedback may be delayed somewhat. From August, we are back in full swing. We hope you have a really nice summer!

Do You Have All The Requirements?
  • Good at prioritizing
  • Open to change
  • Communicative
  • Quality-conscious
  • Collaborative
