Location: Orono
The University of Maine invites applications for a Ph.D. student position in the Field Agronomy and Regenerative Management Lab, starting Spring 2027. The successful candidate will lead a research project aimed at linking soil health to production benefits in Maine's potato systems, integrating soil nitrogen responses and crop yield.
Candidates must have an M.S. in agronomy or a related field, experience in agronomic research, knowledge of regenerative practices, and skills in statistical data analysis. This role requires the ability to work both in teams and independently, along with a willingness to conduct field research.
