Postdoc in Photonic Nanosystems
The Department of Micro and Nanosystems at KTH's School of Electrical Engineering invites applications for a postdoctoral position in photonic nanosystems. We are seeking applicants who wish to conduct advanced research in photonic nanostructures, sensors, and actuators. In this project, innovative nanoelectromechanical devices will be developed and characterized.
QualificationsRequirements
- A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree. This eligibility requirement must be met no later than the time the employment decision is made.
- You have demonstrated scientific excellence.
- You have good collaborative skills.
- The candidate should have a strong background in at least the fields of micro- and nanotechnology.
- The successful candidate should have an outstanding academic record, well-developed analytical skills, and strong problem-solving abilities. We are seeking a highly motivated candidate who is able to work independently. Excellent written and spoken English skills are essential for publishing and presenting research results at international conferences and in scientific journals.
Preferred qualifications
- A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree, obtained within the last three years prior to the Final date to receive applications
- Teaching experience or pedagogical skills are considered an asset.
- You have an awareness of diversity and equal opportunity issues, with particular emphasis on gender equality.
