Kitchen Steward

Churchill Downs -  - Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall cleanliness of kitchen areas and dishware, tableware, and service ware under the guidance of the Kitchen Supervisors;
Cleans according to standards the following items and areas:
Broilers, deep fryers, grills, ovens, range hoods, ware washing machines, and floors and walk-ins;
Carefully rinses all dishware, tableware, and service ware for restaurants before sending them through the dish machine;
Knows and practices Health and Safety standards as set forth by governmental agencies;
Washes hands at each possible point of contamination
