Kitchen Assistant Manager

Description:

Kitchen Assistant Manager (5.75 Hours/Day)

• Conduct majority of preparation responsibilities.
• Provide high level of customer service to students, families, and staff.
• Engage in a variety of duties in a school cafeteria.
• Light prep and serving.
• Dishwashing.
• Cashiering and clean up.
• This kitchen will be under construction for part of the school year and will transition to all foods prepared on site for daycare and pre-K students.

• Must be able to monitor and maintain appropriate inventories for planned menus.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of student information required.
• Must possess excellent written and verbal language skills.
• Prior food service experience in quantity cooking and food preparation preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible work environment.
• Position involves lifting, twisting, and turning.
