Merchandiser; Damariscotta, Rockland, Waterville

Position

Merchandiser in large‑volume grocery and other retail stores.

Hourly wage: $24.10. $2,500 sign‑on bonus. Benefits (health, dental, vision, 401K) start day one. Paid holiday, vacation, and sick time. Mileage reimbursement: $0.725 per mile. Morning shifts (5 AM start) with weekly pay.

• Stock and rotate shelves, coolers, and displays.
• Transport product between backroom and sales floor using equipment (U‑boats, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.).
• Display promotional material such as signs and banners.
• Keep backroom stock neat and orderly.
• Communicate store issues to store managers and Pepsi Co management.
• Build customer relationships at the store level.
• Follow operating procedures (scan‑in/scan‑out, designated routes).
• Serve accounts during designated times.
• Provide customer service (communication, rapport, attentiveness).
• Operate independently with minimal supervision.
• Use handheld devices to write/input orders.
• Maintain regular, reliable, predictable attendance.

• 18 years or older.
• Physical ability to lift, load, push, and pull cases weighing 20–45 pounds.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License.
• Reliable personal vehicle or transportation for multistore locations.
• Proof of insurance.
• Pass a physical capabilities test (if applicable).

• Retail or grocery store experience (understanding store operations, backroom, inventory, stocking aisles).
• Experience moving product within a store using equipment such as U‑boats, hand trucks, or dolly.
• Merchandising experience (filling shelves, building displays, rotating products, cleaning shelves).
• Managing backroom/stock room inventory.
• Customer service experience (handling complaints, responding to requests).
