In Store Hardware Sales Associate

We are looking for a customer-focused and dependable individual to join our team in a retail hardware environment. In this role, you will help customers find the right products, provide helpful guidance on tools and materials, and support daily store operations. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has a strong attention to detail, and is comfortable in a hands‑on retail setting.

• Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance throughout the shopping experience
• Help customers locate merchandise, answer product questions, and offer basic product recommendations
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently at the register
• Maintain clean, organized, and well‑stocked sales floor and merchandise displays
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, pricing, and stocking inventory
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate product needs to management
• Support merchandising, promotions, and seasonal product displays
• Handle customer concerns professionally and elevate issues when needed
• Follow store safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment
• Work collaboratively with team members to support daily store goals

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred
• Basic knowledge of hardware, tools, building materials, or home improvement products is helpful
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide attentive, solution‑oriented customer service
• Comfortable using point‑of‑sale systems and basic computer applications
• Ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise as needed
• Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
