Responsibilities:

• Deli Manager:
  Lead kitchen staff, supervise all kitchen operations, order inventory, coach, and motivate staff. Serv Safe certified preferred.
• Prepare, slice, wrap, weigh, price, and merchandise deli products.
• Operate equipment such as oven, fryer, microwave, cutting tools, scales, and other deli equipment.
• Use store signs to promote daily and weekly specials.
• Provide premier customer service: greet customers and respond to questions.
• Maintain high standards for product freshness and sanitation.
• Select and package products ordered by customers.
• Fill, maintain, and rotate products and displays.
• Prepare special orders.
• Assist in other duties as assigned.
• Walk, stand for prolonged periods, and lift deli products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent interaction with customers and associates.

Qualifications:

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service skills.
• Ability to read, write, and perform simple math.
• Ability to interpret, understand, and follow instructions and solve problems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Food preparation experience.
• Team player who works well with others.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Passion for serving people.
