Position

Purpose

Perform daily operations in the Davis Warehouse to include the Retail Customer Pick‑Up, receive and process inventory.

Shift Availability

Monday‑Sunday 8am–6pm

Responsibilities
  • Receive and process Retail Store merchandise.
  • Receive merchandise from vendor or L.L.Bean trucks, checking the accompanying documents (invoices, P.O.#s, etc.).
  • Generate file tags for each item received (2‑part tag).
  • Tag item and stock merchandise in assigned pick location.
  • File locator tag in tub file.
  • Inventory the received merchandise, completing Key Rec. forms.
  • Make tags – tag merchandise.
  • Key merchandise into R/S inventory.
  • Send merchandise to Retail Store.
  • Process DSD product and pick and ship.
  • Perform tub file audits.
  • Rearrange stock area; construct shelving as needed.
  • Know and follow all safety rules and procedures; report any unsafe acts or conditions to the proper person.
  • Customer Service Retail Pick‑Up:
    Receive call from RS salesclerk and check tub file for item availability; record customer’s name and pick merchandise; provide customer carry‑out and loading assistance; provide world‑class customer service.
  • Assume additional related responsibilities as requested.
