Looking for a rewarding inside sales role in a professional showroom environment? We are hiring an Inside Sales Representative in Topsham, Maine for a respected stone and tile company.

This is a great opportunity for someone with sales, customer service, construction, design, flooring, tile, cabinetry, counter top, building materials, or home improvement experience who enjoys helping customers bring projects to life.

• Greeting customers in the showroom and assisting them with project needs
• Answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining professional customer communication
• Working with homeowners, contractors, and designers throughout the sales process
• Reviewing architectural plans, cabinet drawings, and project details
• Creating estimates using counter top and tile software
• Sourcing stone slabs, tile, and project materials
• Preparing purchase order information and coordinating project details with the Sales Manager
• Following up with customers after the sale to ensure satisfaction
• Helping educate customers on natural stone, tile products, company policies, and project expectations
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional showroom environment

• Previous sales, customer service, or retail experience
• Construction, design, tile, flooring, cabinetry, counter top, building materials, or home improvement experience strongly preferred
• Ability to read or learn to interpret blueprints, cabinet drawings, or architectural plans
• Strong communication skills in person, over the phone, and through email
• Professional, outgoing, and customer-focused personality
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Ability to learn industry-specific software such as Moraware
• Problem‑solving skills and the ability to handle customer questions or concerns professionally
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Physical requirements may include sitting, standing, walking throughout the showroom, using standard office equipment, and occasionally lifting samples or materials up to 50 lbs.

This is an on‑site position in Topsham, Maine. The role is primarily based in a showroom and office setting, with occasional time spent in the shop or warehouse. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with flexibility for extended days as needed.
