Product Specialist Northern Sweden

Salts Healthcare is one of the oldest family-owned companies in the United Kingdom. The company has grown into an internationally successful manufacturer of medical equipment. Salts is particularly known for its innovative and high-quality stoma products, which it delivers to hospitals, healthcare providers, pharmacies, and other healthcare institutions. The company makes significant investments in research and development and collaborates with healthcare professionals and educational institutions for continuous improvements and innovation to develop products that make a difference.

Salts Healthcare is a values-driven company that works together to find better solutions, take chances, and overcome obstacles. Our vision is supported by four values:
Caring, listening, and innovating to improve lives.

Salts currently has around 800 employees. The company has subsidiaries in England, Ireland, and Norway, as well as 24 distributors around the world. Salts Healthcare is headquartered in Birmingham, United Kingdom, and is divided into two departments:
Salts Healthcare and Medilink.

M Care has been part of Salts Healthcare since 2023. In Sweden, M Care/Salts Healthcare has five employees and an office in Lund. M Care offers you a developing and dynamic work environment where the customer's needs are always in focus and we work according to our values of quality, competence, and care. We constantly strive to create long-term value and work together to achieve common goals.

Here you get an instructive and stimulating workplace with committed colleagues, where you really have the opportunity to make a difference. As a smaller company, we have short decision-making processes, which gives you the freedom to influence and contribute to the company's success in a concrete way.

Do you want to work with products that improve people's quality of life?

As a product specialist, you will become part of a small but passionate organization. We all burn for our products that make a big difference and change lives. In this role, you will meet, for example, stoma therapists, healthcare professionals in areas such as surgery, oncology, endoscopy, and wound care specialists. You will also interact with buyers and material consultants at regional and municipal levels and therefore it is essential that you have the ability to meet these individuals in their needs and build long-term relationships.

The work as a product specialist is largely about presenting and educating our customers on how to best use our products, for increased safety of users and patients. The personal meeting becomes therefore very important, and it is through gaining trust with the prescribing authority that we reach our goals.

We are looking for a proactive and self-sufficient product specialist who can develop a strong commitment to our life-changing stoma products. We are a small organization here in Sweden, and therefore it is important that you thrive in a smaller team. Since we work closely together, we place great importance on good collaboration skills. You likely have a background as a nurse and several years of experience in proactive sales.

If you are also driven and self-confident, combined with a large portion of enthusiasm, you could be just the one we are looking for.

We are an important player in the Swedish stoma market and we have recently launched a new groundbreaking, innovative product which means that you will join the business in an incredibly exciting time where you will get to shape the future of stoma care. This contributes to creating good energy within the organization. The industry we operate in is largely characterized by relationship building.

To succeed in this role, it is therefore important that you can build genuine and long-term relationships with your customers.

High meeting activity (presentations, lunch meetings, networking events, etc.) will be essential. The ability to analyze your district's potential, create good district plans, and work goal-oriented will also be important success factors.

Your main tasks will be:

  • Bear total sales responsibility for your region, both for existing customers and proactive sales
  • Proactively work with your customers by being on the move - number of overnight stays per year depends on your place of residence
  • Engage and inform your customers by presenting our products in an advisory and educational role
  • Plan and book your customer visits based on our marketing plans
  • Process your own district and optimize customer activities, including conducting sales-oriented work towards key customers in hospitals
  • Represent the company at trade fairs and events, actively promote products and network to build relationships with key customers
  • Assist with teaching and training for hospital staff, home healthcare, etc.
  • Drive relevant projects within your district
  • Participate in procurements together with the rest of the team
  • Implement and follow up on won procurements
  • Continuously forward market…
