We are currently seeking an experienced carpenter to join our team and contribute to the continued success of our projects.

Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable carpenter with at least 3 years of experience to work on various construction projects, from framing to finishing. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a dedication to safety, a solid understanding of carpentry techniques, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The candidate must be willing to go through lead and asbestos training and perform abatement services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure, cut, and install wood, drywall, and other materials.
  • Build and install frameworks, staircases, doors, windows, cabinets, and other structures.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
  • Ensure that all work is performed to the highest quality standards and complies with local building codes and safety regulations.
  • Operate and maintain carpentry tools and equipment safely.
  • Assist with project planning, layout, and execution.
  • Use a metal brake to bend coil stock around doors, windows, and other structural components.
  • Collaborate with other trades and project managers to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Perform lead abatement activities and rebuild after abatement, training will be provided.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of carpentry experience, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
  • Experience with metal brake operation and the ability to bend coil stock around doors, windows, and other structural components.
  • Ability to read and understand construction blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various physical conditions.
  • Must be willing to obtain lead abatement certification (company-paid training).
