Job Overview

McKenney Carpentry Company is building new homes from frame to finish and is looking for a skilled framer/carpenter to join our full-time, year‑round crew. The position is located in and around Skowhegan, with most work within 30 minutes of the office and never more than an hour away.

The crew values a family‑first mentality and is flexible for employees with young families. We pay by direct deposit, offer bi‑weekly pay, and provide a clean, positive work environment.

• Build new homes from foundation to finished interior, handling framing and carpentry tasks as required.
• Show up on time, with a tool belt and basic hand tools; the company will provide additional tools and equipment.
• Work well within a team/crew setting and communicate effectively with supervisors and teammates.
• Adhere to safety policies and remain drug‑free on the job site.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.
• Experience as a framer or carpenter (skill level not specified, but must be capable of performing framing and carpentry tasks).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Commitment to punctuality and team‑based work environment.

• One week paid vacation after six months of employment.
