About UsLangone Site Services is a growing, family-run general contractor based in West Newfield, ME. We build ADUs, custom homes, additions, decks, and garages across southern Maine and southern New Hampshire — and we run our own site work and excavation. We are fleet-owned, Maine DEP Erosion Control Certified, and known for finishing on time with a 5-year warranty on every new build.
The RoleYou run our in-house production crew — yourself plus 2‑3 laborers — across whatever the schedule calls for. Most weeks that is framing, roofing, siding, decks, interior carpentry, and site work. You read the plans, lay out the work, frame it, finish it, and keep the crew loaded and productive.
You are not stuck behind a desk. You are not running a paper-only role. You are a working foreman — tools on, leading from the front, training the laborers under you.
You report to our Project Manager for the schedule and scope. On site, you partner with the Site Lead running that property. You make the day‑to‑day calls on how the work gets built.
What a Good Week Looks Like- Monday: walk the site with the Site Lead, confirm material on hand, line out the crew for the week.
- Tuesday–Thursday: lead the work — frame walls, set trusses, sheath, roof, side, trim, whatever the job needs.
- Friday: punch out the week, clean the site, plan the next.
- Site changes Wednesday because we wrap one job and move to the next? You roll with it.
- Need a hand on site prep or interior trim mid‑week? You jump in. We are not a single‑trade shop.
- 5+ years residential carpentry. At least 2 years leading a small crew.
- You have framed, roofed, and sided houses start to finish without someone holding your hand.
- You read plans. You cut rafters. You lay out a foundation. You set a window and a door without making us redo it.
- You know enough code to pass inspection without drama.
- You can teach a laborer how to swing a hammer right without yelling.
- You show up on time, sober, every day.
- Valid driver's license.
- Personal tools and belt - We provide everything else — power tools, nailers, saws, ladders, trucks.
- Interior trim and finish carpentry.
- Roofing experience (shingle or metal).
- Equipment time (mini‑ex, skid steer).
- Bilingual.
- Steady, year‑round work — we have a real pipeline, not feast‑or‑famine.
- All power tools, saws, ladders, fall protection gear, and PPE.
- Company truck or truck allowance.
- Weekly paycheck
- Performance bonus tied to on‑time, on‑budget completions after 6 months.
- A real chain of command — you know who you report to and who reports to you.
