Maintenance Service Technician - Electrician

C.N. Brown Company is a Maine based family owned company that owns and operates 73 convenience stores, 26 heating oil offices and 11 service stations, delivering petroleum products into Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and Northern Massachusetts.

We are hiring an Apprentice Electrician or Journeyman Electrician to provide service and maintenance for fueling facility, service station, and convenience store equipment. Experienced technicians preferred; we offer paid classroom and field training to the right candidate.

• Perform petroleum equipment service and installation calls in a professional, timely, and quality manner.
• Perform mechanical repairs on fuel pumps.
• Work with our electricians to set new pumps and wire them up, repair canopy lighting, price sign work, install cameras and perform minor electrical repairs.
• Leak detection maintenance and alarms.
• Job requires frequent kneeling, bending, handling, reaching and standing.
• Use hand tools and various types of telecommunication instrumentation devices (training offered as needed).
• Work in confined space.
• Weekend/holiday on‑call rotation with other technicians.

• Education:
  
  High School diploma (or equivalent).
• Strong computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Able to work as a team as well as independently.
• Positive attitude and attention to detail.
• Must be able to pass DOT physical.
• Comfortable working out of a bucket on a bucket truck.
• Comfortable on ladders.
