USA Government Jobs - - Responsibilities:
Assist the Electric Power Controller in power plant operations and perform preventive maintenance inspections, testing, and repair of plant equipment of moderated complexity;
Assist maintenance personnel in the repair of large slow speed diesel engines and auxiliary equipment;
Take readings and monitor engine gauges and meters for proper performance;
Perform preventive maintenance on large diesel engines, pumps, compressors, boiler, and other plant equipment;
Work rotating shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required
