The Electrician I role is a full-time, on-site position located in Monmouth, ME. This role is responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings under the guidance of senior electricians. Day-to-day tasks include pulling wire, installing fixtures and devices, performing basic troubleshooting, and supporting electrical work on service and construction projects. The Electrician I will follow safety protocols, read and interpret basic electrical diagrams, and help ensure all work complies with local codes and company standards.
The role may also involve interacting with customers on-site, maintaining a clean work area, and completing job documentation as required.
- Foundational knowledge of electricity and basic electrical principles.
- Skills in electrical work, including installation of wiring, fixtures, and devices.
- Ability to perform maintenance & repair and basic troubleshooting on electrical systems.
- Exposure to or understanding of electrical engineering concepts is beneficial.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites in and around Monmouth, ME.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and ability to follow instructions and codes.
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrical apprenticeship or enrollment in a related training program is a plus.
- Ability to work on-site, lift moderate weights, and perform physical tasks in various weather conditions.
