Diesel Truck Mechanic

Mechanics will perform repairs and maintenance on a wide variety of vehicles including semi-trucks,dump trucks, box trucks, flatbed trucks, Reefer trucks, five tons, box trucks,and more.

• Perform preventive maintenance services
• Maintain work area safety
• Conduct diesel repairs, service, and diagnostics
• Service customers and handle road calls
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions
• Work with minimal supervision
• Inspect trucks for proper working condition
• Perform routine maintenance
• Inspect, test, and diagnose defective equipment
• Repair major components (engine, transmission,differentials)
• Comply with federal and state vehicle requirements

• 3+ years of diesel/automotive mechanic experience
• Must have basic computer skills
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have your own set of tools
