Senior Technician, Facility Services, HVAC​/Refrigeration

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility refrigeration and HVAC equipment and assets
• Use commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs
• Use the work order management system to receive repair work orders, support stores and associates, and document repair activities
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect, operate, and test facilities, equipment, and fixtures to diagnose issues
• Complete required training to operate equipment and tools safely
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations, guidelines, Walmart safety policies, and environmental guidelines
• Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work at heights frequently

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration, or 6 years’ experience plus an Associate of Applied Science in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
• Large-scale rack refrigeration experience
• Hold and maintain Type I and Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling
• HVAC-R/mechanical journeyman qualification where required
• 1 year’s experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or a related area, or 2 years’ Walmart store experience
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report
• Commercial driving record with no DUI, DWI, or OUI convictions in the last five years
• Commercial driving record with no more than two moving violations in the last three years
• No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three years
• No serious traffic violations under Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations in the last three years
• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, use ladders, and work at heights
• Ability to use hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and testing equipment
• Ability to complete required safety training
• Ability to comply with OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelines

Demonstrates expertise in HVAC and refrigeration maintenance, ensuring compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations while effectively managing repair work orders and emergency calls. Proficient in using hand tools, digital tools, and power tools to diagnose and repair equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
