As a Maintenance Technician Iat Dollar Tree’s Distribution Center,you’llperform preventive maintenance,troubleshoot, and repair conveyors, building systems, machinery, and electrical/controls equipment.

You’llhelp ensure that all equipmentoperatesat peak efficiency whilemaintaininga safe and organized work environment. Your day-to-day job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on equipment, including lift trucks, pneumatic systems, hydraulic equipment, dock equipment, and electrical/electronicsystems
• Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical/electronic problems with equipment, networks, logic controls, PLCs, motor drives (Servo and VFD), and external I/O devices
• Diagnoseelectricalproblems using technical drawings (blueprints, schematics) and diagnostic tools (multi-meter, laptop)
• Assist other maintenance technicians in the repair and maintenance of equipment
• Initiate and implement new procedures or designstomaintainequipmentefficiency
• Maintain organized work area and promote a safe working environment within the Maintenance department

• Complete work orders, records, logs, and other documentation according to established procedures
• Communicate technical issues effectively to associates, leadership, and suppliers to minimize equipment downtime
• Ensure workmanship meets the highest quality standards

• Operate material handling equipment, battery-powered equipment, and other powered machinery safely
• Maintain a customer service-oriented approach while addressing technical issues

• Coursework or certification in electronic technology and 2 years industrial maintenance experience specializing in electronic technology OR 3 years industrial maintenance experience in electronic technology (including troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment)
• PLC/PC programming knowledge and troubleshooting experience
• Hands-on industrial electrical experience, including 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, and 24 VDC systems
• Advanced troubleshooting skills with PCs and industrial control devices/networking
• Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to business leadership
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays

• Associate’s degree in electronic technology with 2 years of relevant industrial maintenance experience
• Experiencemaintainingautomatedequipment in a distribution center environment
