Position Overview

We're seeking a responsible, caring, and dependable Transportation Driver to join our team in Whitefield, Maine. This role is vital in helping residents access appointments, meetings, and community resources that support their recovery journey. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, patience, and excellent time management while ensuring residents’ safety and comfort on every trip.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely transport residents to and from meetings, appointments, and community events.
  • Maintain a professional and supportive presence while driving.
  • Communicate clearly with staff and residents regarding transportation schedules and needs.
  • Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and maintained in safe operating condition.
  • Maintain accurate mileage and trip logs for reimbursement and reporting.
Qualifications
  • Clean driving record required.
  • Must pass a background check prior to employment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and compassionate toward individuals in recovery.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Access to a reliable personal vehicle (reimbursed at $0.70 per mile).
  • Availability for flexible or extended hours when needed.
