Career Systems Development Corporation Careers is seeking a Disability Coordinator to support students at our Job Corps center in the Educational Services sector. In this mission-driven, student-centered role, you will coordinate ADA-compliant accommodations, conduct disability-related intake and assessments, and develop individualized plans that remove learning and participation barriers. You will collaborate closely with instructors, counselors, and support staff, maintain accurate documentation, provide disability awareness training, and advocate for inclusive practices that help young adults gain skills, confidence, and self-sufficiency in a structured environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate disability services and accommodations for Job Corps students in compliance with ADA and Section 504
  • Conduct intake, needs assessments, and develop individualized accommodation plans
  • Collaborate with instructors, counselors, and support staff to implement accommodations in classrooms, dorms, and training areas
  • Maintain documentation, case files, and required reports with strict confidentiality
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on disability awareness, inclusion, and legal requirements
  • Advocate for students' access to programs, testing, and activities, removing barriers to participation
  • Monitor effectiveness of accommodations and adjust plans based on student progress
  • Liaise with external agencies, schools, and service providers to support continuity of services
  • Support transitional planning for students entering employment, college, or advanced training
  • Promote an inclusive, respectful campus culture aligned with CSD's mission and policies
